HALLOWEEN 2006

I know that it's technically not Halloween yet, but I had to put up some pics from a party we went to last night. Our neighbor Jason's friend Lance has a costume party every year and usually features some pretty creative outfits. The only downer was that Jason's wife, Angel, is 6 months pregnant with their second son so she couldn't make it. But being the good neighbor and friend that I am, I made sure to drink enough for the both of us. : ) Anyway, the reason I HAD to put up some pics is because my friend Heather lent me this AWESOME 'fro that I initially was hesitant to wear. My co-workers and Heather insisted that go as a '60s chick and wear the 'fro (they also threatened to be mad at me if I didn't). So these pics are proof to those who thought I wouldn't wear the 'fro last night. I did, and wore it in all its fabulousness. But for some reason more than one person thought I was Diana Ross...

As you can tell by the picture, my bro-in-law Brian got married this past Saturday to the best thing that's ever happened to him, Kim. They TOTALLY lucked out with the weather...it's been very chilly and rainy (with some snow the last couple of days!) but their day was perfect. Clear, sunny blue skies, temps in the high 50s (not too bad except except for the wind), and just a gorgeous fall day. Everything went off without a hitch, and really, those two deserved a perfect day. As sarcastic and snarky as Brian and I can be with each other, I really am so so happy for him that he found such a wonderful person. Here's some pics from that day and when the photographer has his pics online I'll post the link to that site too. Thanks to everyone who was there and made it such a wonderful day for them. Hey Y'all-

Well, we finally have our own blog. The name may be misleading since I plan on updating/adding on a weekly or as-needed basis, not daily (I just liked the way "Davis Daily" sounded). But with family and friends all over the country, I thought this would be a great and time-saving way to stay in touch.

My biggest goal is to keep everyone in the loop with the big events happening in our lives, like weddings, births, career changes, and other misc. happenings. And to save future space on explanations I'm including a list of main players that you might see in future postings. Thanks!
